La Petite Cachette is our little campsite tucked away in the beautiful Poitou-Charente region of France. It’s a peaceful, down-to-earth spot—perfect for anyone looking to slow down and soak up the quiet countryside vibes.

With just 18 pitches, our site keeps things small and friendly. Whether you’re pitching a tent or trying out one of our cosy Bell Tents, you’ll get the best of both worlds: that close-to-nature feeling with a few creature comforts thrown in.

We’re just a 5-minute walk from Lac de Lavaud, where you’ll find a lovely beach and plenty to do in the summer—think swimming, sunbathing, and even a beach bar serving up food and drinks. You can also rent water toys for a bit of splashy fun.

And if you fancy a pint or a bite to eat, there’s a friendly local pub just 10 minutes away, open all year round.
